Approved Connectivity

The Network interface cards  below are approved for use with the Hamline University network on campus:  

For most desktop PCs:

For most notebook computers:

$76 Intel MBLA3400 10/100 PC Cardbus II Card        (Use with RJ-45 plug.  Requires two  PCMCIA Type II or later slots)

$49 Intel MBLA3300 10/100 PC Cardbus II Card

(With dongle.  Requires one PCMA Type II or later slot)

10 foot 10/100 network cables $10

Network card installation is available for an additional $45.  

We have other network cards for special situations, subject to Hamline University approval.  Also, ask about other connectivity products such as modems and wireless systems for use off campus.
